This 2006 guide was inspired by questions brought to the Association of State Wetland Managers (ASWM) by legislative staffs working on wetland bills as well as by many research projects, conferences and workshops that ASWM has held.  This guide includes information from other guides in the COMMON QUESTIONS series. It is specifically aimed at providing legislators and their staff with information about common issues in wetland protection and restoration.  Funding for this guide was provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
