WI: Wetland Bill discussed in Senate hearing

The Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Environment held a public hearing at the state Capitol on January 12, 2012 on the following appointments: Lynn Harrison as a member of the Land and Water Conservation Board; and Ken Johnson as a member of the Great Lakes Protection Fund; as well as Senate Bill 368, relating to permits for discharges into wetlands; wetland mitigation; wetland mapping and delineation; fees for permits and other authorizations or determinations by the Department of Natural Resources relating to structures, deposits, and other activities in or near navigable waters; making appropriations; etc. For a link to the hearing, click here.
