A publication of the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration is now available online. This report describes recent progress since early 2006 to protect and restore wetlands and other habitat across the Great Lakes basin. The report addresses habitat in general, but focuses on wetlands as a particular habitat that has unique stresses and values, and which has been a focal point for collaboration activity. It describes progress in collaboration as well as progress in on-the-ground protection and restoration. The report further describes new tools that have been developed to support our collaborative restoration efforts by providing easy access to information about potential restoration projects and funding sources.
