New Website Offers a Guide to the Outdoors

The last thing people who love the outdoors want to do is sit in front of a computer. But they might be able to maximize their fun in the sun if they spend a few minutes with a new website, state officials say. The state has launched a new environmental blog titled “The Great Outdoors,” which is billed as a site that will reveal great places to fish, hike, bike, picnic, or even dog-sled in Massachusetts. Staff members representing the Departments of Agricultural Resources, Conservation and Recreation, and Fish and Game contribute posts. For full story, go to:
